Pole integrity program:
Non-Destructive Testing & Remedial Treatment
Our Pole Integrity Program provides utilities with an objective, data-driven approach to evaluating the condition of wood poles.
Using Resistograph technology, we perform non-destructive testing to identify internal decay, voids, and areas of deterioration that may not be visible from the outside.
Unlike traditional visual inspection and sounding methods, which can be subjective and may not identify hidden internal deterioration, Resistograph testing provides a measurable profile of the wood’s resistance, allowing for a more accurate assessment of internal pole condition.
When a pole is suitable for continued service, our team can perform remedial treatments to address deterioration and help extend its useful service life.
